hey, this is kind of a programming related question, but the people in programming told me to come here...so here it is


does anybody know of a .h file on linux that has the getche function? even the name of the file at least, and i can find it for myself... thanks

getche() is just like getch(), except it will echo the character, however this is Windows specific, AFAIK.
I think at some point a library was being developed for *nix, though I don't think it was ever finished.
However, you might try this;

Which is a wrapper around ncurses.
