Connecting to NOVELL from KNOPPIX live cd at school?

I got the genius idea to boot up my computer for Computer Technician II in Knoppix instead of W2K. This is my first time using Linux apart from the several times i've used it at home on my laptop.

So... I want to get onto the network. The school uses Novell for their client. I tried running the login program, but WINE didn't want to run that windows program.

Help anybody?

Keep in mind this is running from a CD, and nothing can be stored on the hard drive because they get cleaned every day. I can use my USB stick or a floppy disk to store files on.

Are there any Novell clients that are compatible with Knoppix or one build into knoppix that I don't know about?
