I mount my pendrive in my linux (RHCE 5) system. Before i mounting pendrive, there was some data in the mount point. After mounting drive i could access the data from pendrive, but i couldn't see the old data in the mount point. Then after my usage i umount my pendrive. Then i could see & access the old data.

What will be the possible problem there..?

well, i believe this is more principle of physics than an actual 'problem'. what i'm referencing is, of course, two objects cannot exist in the same space at the same time.
create an empty folder to mount your pendrive. then you'll be able to access both the pendrive, and the old data ;]
