driftnet & msgsnarf problems

Anyone here use driftnet or msgsnarf?


I've been using knoppix on my network and have been having problems with these two programs from the default install.


driftnet works for 1-5 hours then just stops. Closing the window and reopening gets it working again then again it stops.

msgsnarf works for 1-20 minutes before I get an error and then it doesn't work again until I reboot.

I've had the following programs running for over 2 weeks and they are still working fine:

aimSnarf.pl
mailsnarf
dsniff
etherape
urlsnarf

etherape works as well as dsniff, but if you are of the mind that msgsnarf has to work you may want to check out your libnet -- requires 1.0.9 or lower I think. You can always install that in $TMP and refer to it during the build.
