Evolution Spawning

Help 
I'm running ubuntu with a Gnome setup and Evolution mail software. However, Evolution is having problems connecting to the exchange server and when I grep " ps auxww | grep evo" i appear to be spawning processes, My result is ever changing such as
I've tried deleting them but nothing appears to work. Anybody ever had a similar problem

Hi Don,
Yep, I mean i'm killing the processes. I'm loading Evolution via the GUI but killing the processes can be quite an undertaking because the process id's keep changing ...
Usually I end up rebooting the box, then I get about 15 minutes usuage before Evolution becomes unusable again Haven;t tried anything else, i'm no expert on uBuntu/Evolution. It's a new setup.

Don - yep, I can ping the exchange box. I just appear to create multiple processes in the background. I'm learning to live with it by killing all processes then restarting Evolution. Saves me having to restart the box
I'll look into Thunderbird when I get a chance (thanks AnarchY SI). If I suss out the problem/resoltuion i'll post it here

what he's saying is that may be the problem, you may need administrative privileges in order to access it in which case you'd either have to modify the permissions or *eep!* login as root (NO). or give yourself administrative privileges
