Fedora and CDROM

Fedora 2 have some problem with CDROMs (LG, for ex.).
Does Fedora 4 have the same problem?

a Firmware problem. After Fedora instalation, some CDROM drives do not work

My guess is you must mount your cdrom drives. su and say cat /etc/fstab . My best guess would be that, not all your cdrom drives would be listed there. Just add accordingly.

I don't think Fedora2 has problem with LG cddrive. My friend has LG DVD combo drive. It works finely.
