Anyone with RedHat Expertise? or Linux in general?
How would i enable file sharing with Windows XP Home? I got Samba installed on Fedora but clueless on where to go!
Two PC are physically connected, WinXP file sharing is enabled already. It's just the Linux side that i'm concerned about.... i'm new to Linux

thanks

Provided you installed and built samba properly....

There's two files, smb.conf.sample and nmb.conf.sample. Find those two, and copy them to a like version without the .sample.
Edit them as appropriate, according to
http://us1.samba.org/samba/docs/man/Sam ... ollection/
And you should be good to go.

Cheers.
