Hi everyone,I am a new user on this forum.I am a windows XP user and trying to install linux Fedora Core 5 in another partition of 20GB. So as usual I boot the system after inserting the linux installation disk.I have 4 CD disks for this Fedora Core.Everything starts fine initially for installation. The Anaconda system installer runs and can detect my hardwares and the initial specifications for the drive are inputted well. I mount the Fedora core on dev/sda 5 as is mentioned in my computer and formats it before the installation process. But after it completes installing some files(about 3-5 minutes), the installation terminates without any notice or error signal and reboots. I am completely without any clue where the problem is.Can anyone help or suggest upon it?
It greatly acknowledge your help,THANKS.....

/dev/sda5 doesn't sound right for the root partition.

Did you partition the drive the way it's shown on that site? Then after that Fedora should ask to sub divide the 20GB into other slices.

/sdba1 /usr
/sdba2 /dev
/sdba3 /tmp
/sdba4 /var

I use FreeBSD so that's not exact but you get the idea.

Edit: If at all possible, use a separate machine for Linux. It's much better than dual boot.
