My colleagues and I are doing our school project and we have two different option of software to use to programme the software. We can use either flash or create a java applet but I am not too sure if a java applet can run on a linux machine.
Do any of you guys have any suggestions on which software will be better, easier to programme and more flexible?

Thanks

i've never actually attempted to code a flash application, but in terms of ease of programmability, i'd certainly think that applets would be easier to code. but IMO, if i had the ability to make it in flash, i'd do it over java applets any day because you'd probably get a better GUI with it.

and yes, linux does have the java plugin.
