FTP DAEMON

Hi,

I've just installed an old version of red hat on a server and am trying to figure out what ftp software is installed to I can create new users.

Anybody got any advice?

If you are in X -- which I abhor on a server -- go to Main menu->System settings->Users and Groups.

Otherwise from the CLI, use 'useradd'.

As far as finding out if there is an ftp server running, try "ps -ef | grep ftp"
