FTP server instructions on how to disable anonymous

Description: Giving an anonymous user the ability to write to your disk is not recommended as it can lead to the compromise of your system.

I need the FTP server instructions on how to disable anonymous write access.

Please give the solution to solve the above issue.

That's how it pertains to FreeBSD. I don't know what you are running but you can run
man ftpd
to get the basics of your system.

We'd have to know what distro you're using. I suggest using vsftpd over any other FTP server.

Hey There,

Given the information (not sure what server you're using), generally removing the account associated with the ftp server will kill anonymous access.
For instance if there's an ftpd user, just run "userdel ftpd"
