hi
i am new to linux and i am trying to set up a server to host a few web pages on one of my old computers.
i installed red hat enterprise edition v 3 but when i start the computer it goes through all the checks but then the screen goes blank, the computer still responds to ctrl alt del. don't know much about linux but i am guessing it might be the graphic card? the computer is an old 500mhz pentium with about 400 ram and a 80 gig hd the graphic card is a pci ati/compusa radeon 7000 card(cheapest graphic card i could find yesterday, old one was broken) any suggestions on what might be the problem or how to solve it with out to much $ would be greatly appreciated

ok realized it is not the graphic card that is causing the problem, beacuse it is supported by red hat (found it on the list when i reinstalled) and i tried to install without windows x option, and still same error
