help install NVU

hi all

Linux novice here.

Complete novice, I want to install NVU on my Linux Laptop (Ubuntu)

I went to
http://nvudev.com/download.php
Clicked to download the debian package, under binaries for linux.

Now what do i do?

http://nvudev.com/download/nvu-1.0.ubuntu.5.04.deb

Once you download it, just click on it, your package manager should automatically ask if you want to install it (at least, Fedora acts that way).

Hello, sorry I have been busy the past week.

I managed to install it, easy when i use the correct package.

I was using "Tarball built on Linspire 5.0 (Debian k2.6.10), gcc/g++ 3.3.5" link, instead of the ubuntu link.
