Help please: Can't browse a domain name

I use to connect to the internet via bluetooth and EDGE.
I manually configured /etc/wvdial.conf first and then
connected by using pppd connect "wvdial gp".
Now i can open a web page by it's ip address say: http://211.206.123.219/ works but http://www.hotmail.com/ doesn't work. Seem's my browser can't resolve domain names to
ip addresses.

Now what is the solution?

ding. i have solved the problem. just the dns server ip address was to be given. under windows it is automatically configured. i got it from windows and put it on linux. everything is just working fine.

Most of the time it is a DNS problem not resolving. Good you figure the problem out.
