ok so im relatively new to linux. i just installed the java runtime environment 1.5.0 (pain in the ass, learning experience nonetheless) and now my boss needs NFS on this bad boy. Since i've only installed the first 2 iso images im guessing NFS isn't installed (i think samba is because i was able to open the .conf file). Anyone got any ideas on how I should go about doing this? or maybe i should be asking...is NFS some sort of networking/filesharing program? my next project would probably be installing Samba as well (i know that lets you share files with Windows computers). This is a really great learning experience for me. Im loving all that linux has to offer. any help would be greatly appreciated.
