An actual driver, as in the thing that tells the OS how to talk to the hardware, such as the Ethernet chip in a cellphone.I am a beginner, actually a senior in the University, and I would appriciate it very much if someone wanna help or show some helpful things :D

I somehow get the feeling that if you have to ask that question, you probably shouldn't be doing it in the first place.

Do you mean an actual driver, as in the thing that tells the OS how to talk to the hardware, or do you mean the firmware that is permanently burned into the little controller chip on the NIC itself?
