I'm new to Linux, and I would like to know my mac address.
I know that the command is ifconfig for seeing the ipaddress and mac address (and some information, I don't know what are they), but I'm not able to find what is my mac address from many numbers which are displayed :(
Can anyone help me out ?

For all info regarding your network connection, type in command line:

$sudo ifconfig eth0 (where eth0 - is your network profile, so It could be different).
