But you should take most Linux screenshots with a grain of slat, I've found that it's rather time consuming to make a nice desktop that is still fast and responsive.

i've never used it, but the free version isn't supported anymore. so getting help with it could proove to be difficult, and finding some things that you want packaged in rpm's may be difficult. but - like i said, i've never used it.

I have used redhat 9, and I am no linux expert but it installed pretty easy found all the hardware (except for vid card) on my laptop and it set up dual boot with windows easily.

I used Redhat 9 on my laptop for a few weeks and didn't have any problems, but if your going the Redhat route you'd be better off with Fedora, it's new and works better with hardware (in general).

It searched for hardware during the installation, very simular to windows.
