I have just installed Redhat Linux 9.

I need to install drivers for my Alcatel Speedtouch USB modem, (and a couple of other devices), but there are few instructions on how to do this.

I'm not a programmer so i need to know in 'Laymans' terms.

Any help would be nice.

Many Thanks

you are going to have to manually install whatever drivers you need, when you find those drivers most of them have some pretty detailed instructions on how to install them

as for your modem driver, here are the instructions located here http://linux-usb.sourceforge.net/SpeedT ... howto.html

there seems to be a problem with the page, just scroll down and you will see the instructions.

YOu can also download the driver from that page.

let us know if you have any other questions
