init= option kernel panic

i compiled a newkernel.....

but whwnevr i tried to boot from it ....it shows error like ....

kernel panic: init=option not found.try passing arguments

i passed arguments /bin/bash .......and /bin/sh

errror is still there ............can anybody help!

when you compiled the kernel, it should have produced 2 files. the kernel, and the initrd
you have to make sure both of them are in the boot folder and that both have an entry in the boot loader

without initrd only...........ramdisk error should be ther my initrd file is doing well.......

van u tell any slolution
