I'm pretty sure there is an rpm package for each of those, try downloading them and installing.

I'm having trouble finding the rpm's also, but on their downloads page there is a link that says "dependencies", try installing those first, then install your glib and gtk+.

Try installing them using yum:

Open a terminal and log in as root:

Then have yum install it:
  1. # yum install gtk

There's a good chance it will already be installed, in which case you can see if there are any updates available:
  1. # yum update gtk

does the box have a working net connection?
if so, its possible a firewall is blocking that connection but that error usually occurs when theres no net connection at all.

It could be, but to be sure try logging in to the terminal as root and typing:

That will tell SELinux to be permissive and hopefully it will allow stuff to pass through from the network. Then when all done, type setenforce 1

Always try the easiest stuff first!
