Installing Red Hat 9.0

Please help me.
I try to install Red Hat Linux. So I created boot floppy disc and restart my computer with installation CD1 in CDROM. The the computer started to boot from floppy disc, but when it asked me where is installation disc for Linux I pointed Local CDROM. It give me that answеr : can't see any installation CD in my CDROM :( ! Why?Why?Why?
Please anybody help me to install Red Hat 9.0

Could be any number of things, from a bad iso burn to CD to a device not being supported. (CD Drive).

I might suggest you drop RedHat9 and go with the latest version of Fedora which A) might prove to contain more applicable drivers and B) will most certainly contain newer packages.

That is, if you are intent on the whole 'RedHat' thing. :)

also - redhat no longer supports redhat 9 so you're not going to be getting any updates from them :] looky looky

you can download fedora from http://fedora.redhat.com/fedora or you can buy it from websites such as http://www.osdisk.com or http://www.linuxcd.org if you dont have a high speed internet connection :) (the 3.1 GB dvd iso took me about 73 min b/c i found a server that'd give me a steady 708 KB/s, which was definitely not easy).
