Internet connection not working with Mandrake 9.0

Is the driver installed correctly? I had a huge problem installing my driver (using a cable modem)! I eventually had to search for it myself instead of having Windows search for it. Later, I found out that Windows does not always search correctly! After i found this out my life has been easier. DAMN that Bill Gates! LOL!!

When your wireless connection comes in is it a LAN cable, if so then a cable modem won't work, most wireless connections use a ethernet connection. So you need a NIC card installed in your computer not a cable modem card. They both use RJ-45 connectors but they talk differently on the cable. I'm just using the information off of the wireless network radios I use, and setup. Hope that is helpful, enjoy
