I am a linux beginner,what does the 25% ,50% and 75% really mean?

Does it exactly install correcttly?

Run a samba command to see if it installed or not. That must be a newer version of RPM. I quit RedHat and went back to FreeBSD when I couldn't open the new RPM because I didn't have the new RPM.

yea, it's a new version.

I run
Code: [ Select ]
rpm -Uvh --replacepkgs samba...rpm


to get it.

well, there were 4 packages being installed. the 25% meant the first package was installed, the 50% meant the 2nd package was installed...
