I got a new computer recently & put Ubuntu on it.

Now the previous Ubuntu computer I'm transitioning from was about a 600Mhz PIII with 256Mb RAM & something like a 32Mb Radion video card. Needless to say the special effects were not enabled on that system.

Now I turned what I think is everything on expecting maybe some window shadows or semi-transparent windows & some spiffy animated transitions.
Instead I got windows that bounce around and stick to eachother, or slosh around like a bowl of jello when I move them.
This is too freakin cool, I've never seen anything like it before outside of Flash movie experiments.

What other kind of super-spiffy special effects that I can use as an excuse to bug my neighbors am I missing ? :D
Strong with this one, the sudo is.

I thought a screensaver would be nice for once, I almost choked on my coffee trying to hit the prntscrn key when the one in this screenshot came up.

The one after this was for Morphine, followed by a bunch of random stuff.
What are the chances ?

yes sir, it is ^_^
don't forget to enable the animations addon in the settings manager so that you can use the burn & beam up effects for opening / closing and minimizing windows.
cube reflection & deformation is pretty sexy as well
