how do I change the time of my linux server. Its hosted locally in an eastern timezone, however the server itself is dedicated to a pacific timezone.

How do I do this in ssh?

Note: I have full moderation and ownership of the server

You have root access and you don't know how to change the time?
Scary me.

Type this at the command prompt:

Code: [ Select ]
man date
"It's always a long day, 86,400 won't fit into a short."
