I hate having to ask so many questions, but I really want to get Linux working on my PC. I downloaded the Fedora Linux DVD iso and burned the image onto a DVD. When I reboot my computer, it takes me into the linux setup, but when it asks me what medium the core is in, I get no DVD option. So I went ahead and chose the CD option, but when I do that, it says something like, no disc is in or something to that effect. Do you think I'll have to scrap the DVD and just burn the 4-CD version?

i downloaded the 3 iso's of mandrake linux and burned the boot option cd. i booted off that and it gave me the choice to install it off of the iso's i had on a dif partition. I'm not sure if you can do that with fedora though. i could save you the burning time.

Check the hardware compatibility list for your DVD device; it may not be supported. (READ: They may not have drivers yet)
Your other options are to d/l the CD iso(s) or do a network install.

Cheers.
