Hi folks,
I'm setting up my PC to be a dual boot XPpro/ Mandrake 10.
However I am having a problem installing Mandrake.

During the Partition segment of the installation process
I get the Error "cannot format sda1 in type Ext2:vfat"
and the installation process stops dead.

Any ideas how to get around this ?

Thanks

Thank you Folks, I figured out the problem... I think.

It Appears that the Mandrake 10 Installation / Partition software is
not compatible with my Maxtor 60 GB HardDrive.

I Used Partition magic to create 2 Linux ext3 partitions and a swap drive.

During the Installation process I just left everything as is.

Worked Fine.

Any other ideas on what may / or may not have happened?
