Hi,

I'm trying to remove mysql from a Linux box but have been having trouble with the dependencies. I can delete all the associated mysql rpms (devel, client, etc) but have trouble with the 'main' mysql rpm when using rpm -e:

> rpm -e mysql-3.23.52-3
error: Failed dependencies:
libmysqlclient.so.10 is needed by (installed) perl-DBD-MySQL-2.1017-3

So I try:

> rpm -e perl-DBD-MySQL
error: Failed dependencies:
perl-DBD-MySQL is needed by (installed) mysql-3.23.52-3

Maybe there is some sort of repair I can do to fix this? I didn't install perl nor the Linux OS so am not aware of any detailed configurations.

Any suggestions are much appreciated.
