I would almost bet you've got bad memory in the target system actually thinking about this.

There are 3 reasons I say this - 1, I've only ever seen FreeBSD panic with worklist_remove when this was the issue (quite some time ago). 2, you're getting page faults with pcbsd. Finally 3, Daemonguy said "you have more than 16MB of ram, right?" which jarred my memory of point 1.

Also, Nero usually does a pretty good job of burning ISOs to a CD.

As a quick test, physically feel the RAM chip(s) in the target system. If they're very hot, they're bad. If you've got more than 1 stick in there, chances are just 1 of them will be bad, pull out the hot one and try to install again. It's not uncommon for the BIOS to miss bad ram either, but you might look at how much that's actually reporting you have.

If you can, get another stick of the same type (size doesn't matter, just so it's the same frequency - 100, 133, 2100, 3200, whatever) and try that in there by itself.

btw - you shouldn't have a bin folder in the files folder under bcd, the bin folder is under bcd111 and you should never have to go in there - the script you run is bcd111/bcd.cmd

hmm.....INGENIUS!

It works!......I had 1 123MB chip and I replaced it. Works fine. LOL, the hard drive really was bad though. It gave me other errors after it got past the "RAM" ones......they were hard drive related......plus the drive was making a horrible clicking noise. Yeah, gonna need a new one of those:-P.

Well anyway, thanks for all of your help to the both of you and have a great new year!
Laters,
A very happy Zane

Glad I could help.

You have a great new year as well.

P.S.
Yeah, hard drives aren't supposed to click. Don't store anything on there that you can't afford to lose.
