New Debian Install - Re-setup Networking

so i downloaded the TWO debian dvds....thats a lot for an OS. lol but yea, the install went fine...only problem i had was with networking. it doesn't work. lol how can i re-setup the networking? or modify the config file so that it works (basically - what config file do i need to edit?)
