openafs database problem.

i start implemented in my lab..............
everything goes fine till i run the following command

Quote:
bos setcellname -server <m/c name> -name <cell name> -noauth


it shows error that

can't open cell database /usr/local/etc/openafs

does /usr/local/etc/openafs exist?
you may need symlinks from inside the openafs folder to the server you're trying to connect to.
can you post the actual command that you're entering?

yes.......these files exist and sysmlinks are also present

command i entered is as given:

bos setcellname /usr/local/etc/openafs


and the error that comes is i posted earlier
