Problem with drivers for Eth Accton en2242 for Redhat 9 !

Hi guys,

I'm new to Linux and using Redhat 9 and I'm trying to find the drivers (and install them!) for my laptop ethernet adapter accton en2242. Can you please explain the procedure step by step?

P.S.: The adapter worked once and then no more after that!

apparantly the driver is only for 2.2.x kernel

you will have to compile a 2.2 kernel after you place this in its directory and go from there
