I've searched the entire web for automatic updates for redhat 9.0 in the RPM format. It's really getting on my nerves. Anyone got an Idea on where or how I can get these updates.

As far as I know there are none, after redhat stopped support last year and moved to fedora I spent quite a while searching around and found a couple of sites that hand rolled security updates for that kernel version, but installing them looked out of my league. so in the end I just upgraded to Fedora core 2, hav'nt had any problems on both pc's I've done it on apart from a couple of niggles that where solved with a little internet searching. and I get all the advantages of the 2.6 kernel (usb support is now really good). and can then use yum or up2date as the rpm updater.

Cheers

Humm just happened to stumble across a rpm repository for redhat versions 8 and 9. at least until the july 24th of this year anyway when it was abandoned due to lack of interest, but if an-one needs security updates till then its at.
http://rpm.livna.org/

It was linked from a linux documentation project about installing fedora core 2 with all the mp3 players/encoders which is well worth a read if your about to do so
