I am running a Win system, sorry for saying here...

I am working on a design website, which will run at any platform, in any browser...

Is there anyone who can get me some nice screenshots, so I know how the Linux / Unix and sortalike look like, and what they do...

Just some screenshots, like menus and windows...
I would like to make a skin for the site in Linux / Unix look... with menus and all...

what theme do you want? I use "High Contrast Inverse" because its easy on my eyes but there are about ten others in the default Fedora installation. Do you want the default theme?

go to http://fedora.redhat.com/ and download for free. Or buy CDs on ebay if you have a modem.

I will get some screenshots tonight, I'm a little busy at the moment.

Unix/Linux will look any way you want it to look.

It's not like windows where you're pretty much tied to a single style of interface (or at least, tied unless you start playing around with XP skins)...

You can make Linux look like anything you want it to... I've seen Linux look like Windows, like a Mac, like an Amiga, and I've seen completely original interface styles & designs.

depends. When you set up the boot loader which options did you choose? You should get a GRUB menu. But if you don't then you might have to reinstall grub. Insert CD1 then boot in rescue mode. Then do a whole lot of crazy crap I can't remember.

Go to

I fixed the problem a few days ago...

But I have a new one...

I have an ASUS AAM6000UG USB ADSL modem...
I can' t get it installed, I found on with a Globespan chipset, but I appear to have the Alcatel chipset...

(the difference is the device regCode:
Globespan 0195:0001 or so
Alcatel 0b05:6202
)

I have to find a driver for it, all I found eversince was a spanish one, and I can' t run it, because I have no clue what I' m doing there...

If you wonder, I run a RedHat Fedora Core 2 ([kernel here soon]) Linux with standard English language...
All packets installed...

Is there anyone who would like to search, reprogram, or translate?
I would be pleased...

Thanks ahead
