I have a problem in running freshclam with this erro below:

ERROR: Can't open /var/log/clamav/freshclam.log in append mode (check permissions!).
ERROR: Problem with internal logger.

any comments/suggestion is highly appreciated

What user are you trying to run freshclam under? You probably need to be root.
