slackware 9 install throug VMWare

hey bros, trying to install Slackware 9 through VMWare and cant get the syntac correct to create a ext2 partition, i read the help files and such but with no luck, can anyone post the steps axactly for creating the partition and saving the settings for it, I can take the rest from there.
not using scsi, just eide and standard new desktop hardware

hey bros, i got this one, just edit the /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 - which is the VMWare directory for its video settings, on my labtop, i changed it to

HorizontalSinc =28-96
VerticalSinc=50-76

this was on my sony labtop

so far all that love VMWare, there ya go! Partnas!
