Hye everyone,

i'm using slackware 11 for the first time, but there is a problem regarding network hardware..
Actually the slackware doesnt detect any network device, for your information, i using aspire 3680 with realtek hardware.. I already download the driver from the Realtek website, but it seems no output(no result).

What should i do then?

If slackware has the dmesg command, run it and see if the device is listed there. It should be something like eth0. Then use the whatever dhcp or ifconfig command there is to give it an IP address.
