Recently I downloaded Solaris Express Community Edition DVD (MD5 is OK) , when I installed on my Toshiba Satellite Laptop A100-785 it gave the message below :

Quote:
GUN GRUB version 0.95 (638 K lower/1037760 K upper memory)

[Email BASH-Like line editing is supported. For the first word, TAB lists possible command completions. Any where else TAB lists the possible completions of a device/filename. ]

Grub>

I found all these threads through my search

http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=en&q ... arch&meta=

But I could not find how this problem could be fixed

First, search the Grub bug reports as suggested buy the Grub site.
http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?group=grub

There is also a FAQ
