solaris monitoring software

Dear Expert ,

I try find best software for monitoring solaris Os : monitoring network traffic each interface (low ,high , average traffic) , cpu , memory ,memory usage , memory usage on RSS also IO activity include io on HBA storage , i try sunmc 4.0 but heavy load on postgress database, up.time4 (not clear on activity network) and manage engine application 8 can not monitor the network activity also hba storage card , does any body know the good software for monitoring solaris ?

Hey There,

You can try "Big Brother," "Nagios" and "cfengine" for free. I don't think they come with any support or guarantees, though.

The last place I worked at used BMC patrol to monitor everything from the disk space to the network and they seemed to know much more than I wanted them to

If you want to pay HP OVO is very good.
Afree tool i would recomend is cacti but you need to do some adjustment/scripts to provide info to it or to use orcallator which will provision the stats to it....
