go to /etc/

edit rc.local

put the command line /usr/src/apache/apachectl

rc.local is a start up file

Er, in RedHat 9?

Doesn't that one use the /etc/rc.d/init.d/ format?

As in /etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd ?

I had thought so, but it has been awhile.
