Sun Solaris Machine Not Pinging

Hi Experts,

I am new to Unix and recently in our local network, we set up a Sun Solaris machine and it is under DHCP. From Sun Solaris machine, I am able to connect other Windows machine through Telnet, but if I ping the same Windows machine, It is not pinging. Also, I am not able to Telnet the Sun Solaris machine from Windows machine.

Can, any one advise me how to overcome the problem and see that the Sun Solaris machine is in the Network.
