/cvs/libc/configure --prefix=/usr/src/test/glibc-2.2 \
--enable-add-ons --disable-profile --without-cvs --enable-kernel=2.2.0 \

on i686-linux, running Linux 2.2.13 but with headers from 2.3.34pre2,
gcc 2.95.2. If I compile with headers from 2.2.13 everything seems to

Here's an output from gdb on elf/resolvfail:

So I am curious why you cut and pasted a direct quote from redhat's sources mailing list from Dec 1999? ... 00079.html

Just wondering, as this "issue" was dubious at best and did not appear again.
