I have Stanford's Folding @ Home running on my CentOS 5, I have it running at start up how ever, it doesn't run in the background. So when I start up the server it loads the console for F@H. This isnt so much a problem because I SSH into the server most of the time. However, I moved the server onto a new network and since it has a static IP I'm running into some problems. So I was wondering whats the easiest way to stop it from starting up. Its there another mode I can boot into?

there should be an entry for it in /etc/init.d/ that you could move / rename to stop it from starting up on boot
