Transparent terminal

I am new to linux and i have redhat 9. I just want to mess around with stuff and try to make it look cool. I dont even know how to make the terminal transparent.. how do i do that?

I just got KDE and i still dont know how to make it fully transparent. Do i need another term? like aterm?
