My laptop has a problem where it can't suspend. I've done some research and found out that this is due to my Nvidia graphics card. From the research I've done, it seems that I could make a script that would if I unload the Nvidia drivers (or the Nvidia module) before suspending and reload them after resuming. However, I can't find out how I would do this.

Does anyone know how I can unload the Nvidia drivers/module?

Well, I'm pretty new to Mandrake (and Linux). Is there a better way of going about doing this? Here's what I get from my kernel log after I run the "echo 3 > /proc/acpi/sleep" command:

Quote:
NVRM: ACPI: unsupported event: 3
Could not suspend device 0000:01:00.0: error -1

Thanks to anyone who can help!
