ultra 80 power up , 3 second get low beep

Dear All ,

We have ultra 80 , the machine powers on then after 3second I get a low beep sound and thats it,I press power button and system still not up

i test cpu ok and i change memory also but still not up

. Does any one have solution for this case ?

ahh, i see you posted on the Sun forums too.. did you search the Sun forums? and, if so - did you see this post? specifically try..

to whether it appears tight or loose. Over-torquing can destroy the slot it goes into.

Yes , i posted on sun forum too , i try remove RAM raised board and reseat each dim , but still cannot up , i am also try change compatible ram but still same problem .

did you also make sure the procs are in the right slots?
..sorry i can't be of more help >.<

Ok thanks for reply , yes we use two procesor and give slot 2 and 1 according sun doc 805-6618-11 (cpu placement order)
