Uninstalling

i am using redhat 9

i have installed some custom software. how to uninstall it. please help.

Wll, that kinda depends on what software and how it was installed...

The way your question stands right now, it's like saying...

"How do I travel from Point A to Point B?"

Without telling us your mode of transport, or the actual location of Points A & B. :)

its a software called gnome download manager.

it s a tar.gz file. i extracted it and from terminal first configured it by typing ./configure and then installed by make install command as given in the instructions.

i dont know where it got installed. i am new to linux
