Hi all,
I have many scripts written in AT&T (and Sun Solaries) shells now we want to use RedHat Linux. Unfortunately, these scripts do not work. Is there a tool or an easy way to do this transformation?

Interesting question, I am not sure on this one if there is anything out there. I did a few searches on google and found nothing. I am not that familiar with Solaris, but are the shells completely different? or do you have shells such as csh, bash, etc.

I guess what I am trying to get at is, does pretty much everything in your shell scripts need to be converted? or are there just a few things that are probably not portable.
