Hello,

I currently have Suse linux 9.1 pro and Suse linux 8.0 pro. I just install 8.0 on a computer and then got 9.1(sopports 64 bit processer). Now my question is can I just update it to the 9.1 or do I have to reinstall. I do not have anything on the computer so is it easier to just format the harddrive and start over? What is the best way to go about doing this? Thanks,

Justin

so your saying that you have suse linux 8.0 installed and you want to know if you can just update the installstion :?:

yes you can. if you have 8.0 installed then all you have to do is shutdown and stick the disk in and restart and it should notice that you have 8.0 installed already

ok, now what if I want to format my hard drive, because lets say, i screwed something up and now it does not reconize the hard drive. What would you do in a situation like that? Thanks,
